Why 'Al Jady'?

Al Jady doesn't carry your shipments. It tells you where you are, and where you're going.

The name is not a coincidence.

The North Star

"Al Jady" is the ancient Arabic name for the North Star.

The star that guided sailors, merchants, and caravans for centuries. The star that doesn't move while everything else does.

In the world of ancient sailors and traders, the sky was chaos — every star moving, every landmark shifting, every port distant. Then there was one star: Al Jady. The fixed one. The one that tells you where north is, where you're going, where you've been.

The North Star did not carry cargo. It did not build ships. It did not pay the fees. It did one thing: made reaching anywhere possible in the chaos.

This is what Al Jady does today in the world of Saudi and GCC importing.

★ Al Jady — the fixed point
Why now

Saudi importing is entering a new phase.

For decades, Saudi importers managed shipments with what the market offered. And it was enough — volumes were manageable, regulations changed slowly, the ecosystem was less complex.

Today the ecosystem moves at a different speed. ZATCA, MAWANI, and SABER move simultaneously. Technical regulations expand. Full digitalisation is irreversible. The importer with clear visibility makes faster decisions, avoids greater costs, and grows more sustainably.

Al Jady was built for this phase. From inside the Saudi market, for those who live its complexity every day.

The new phase

The Saudi importer in the new phase.

The new phase means the manager spends time on decisions, not gathering information. The team executes decisions, not chasing updates. Data moves automatically, and alerts arrive before the problem.

The world's biggest importers — Walmart, Unilever, Procter & Gamble — reached this phase a decade ago. Saudi and GCC importers are making this transition now.

The promise

We help you see what can't be seen.

Everything happening in your shipment — from factory departure to warehouse delivery — passes through hundreds of data points. Most are visible but scattered. Some are hidden but critical.

The demurrage starting the day after tomorrow. The regulation arriving in three weeks. The supplier who always delays. The SAR 12,000 that can be avoided if you act today.

Al Jady gathers the visible. Reveals the hidden. And translates everything into a decision.

About the builder

Al Jady is from one chapter.

Al Jady is a product from One Chapter Consulting — a management consultancy specialised in Saudi import and logistics, led by Mohamed Aljared, with 21 years of experience running a family trading company and its logistics operations.

We did not start with a software idea and search for a problem. We started with a problem we knew for decades, and built the solution we wished had existed.

Al Jady is not software brought in from outside into the Saudi market. It is a product of this market, built from inside it, for people who live its complexity every day.
